《花镜》是中国清代主要介绍花卉植物的专著。全书共七卷。卷一"花历新裁"，就每月在移植、扦插、压条、下种、收种、浇灌等方面的工作做了具体而细微的罗列。卷二"课花十八法"，内容涉及花卉特性和嫁接、扦插、移植、下种、浇灌、培壅、治虫、催花等方法，以至盆景、插瓶、花园款设等，是全书着意所在，所陈技术，有不少独到之处。卷三至卷六分别介绍植物花木类65种、花果类50种、藤蔓类78种、花草类102种，共295种。卷后附录叙述调养禽鸟、兽畜、鳞介以及昆虫的方法。
